UMPL participation in the 114th Session of the International Labor Conference in Geneva

“This Thursday, June 4, UMPL participation in the 114th Session of the International Labor Conference (ILO) in Geneva.

The common thread this year was Social Justice, Social Dialogue and gender inequalities.

The UMPL was represented by Elena Cordoba Azcarate, Miriam Benavides (Spain) and Bernard Jacquemin, Vice-President (Belgium).

Elena Cordoba Azcarate received, like all the other representatives, 5 minutes of speaking time to present our selected theme: “Decent work and the platform economy in highly qualified liberal professions: dialogue and intelligent regulation”.

Let us also highlight the very relevant and courageous interventions of the Middle Class Ministers of Ukraine and the Middle East.

The support of our free countries will be essential during their upcoming reconstruction.

We understood the importance of the presence of our World Union at this event.

It is a global showcase of liberal professions in the hope of lasting peace between nations. »

Bernard Jacquemin
