The World Union of Liberal Professions (UMPL) held its elective General Assembly in Paris at the Palais d’IENA, headquarters of the Economic, Social and Environmental Council (CESE). And this on Tuesday November 28, 2023.

During this elective General Assembly, Tunisia was unanimously elected to the presidency of the UMPL, in the person of Dr Faouzi Kechrid, current president of the Union of Liberal Professions of Tunisia (UPL) for a four-year term.

Note that UMPL has its headquarters in Paris. Tunisia is a founding member. This General Assembly was also marked by the accession of the African (UAFPL) and Arab (UARPL) Unions of the liberal professions, both founded at the initiative of the UPL Tunisia.
